President of Vilnius Academy of Arts visited GAD
On the morning of 6th November, Professor Audrius Klimas, President of Vilnius Institute of Art, Lithuania, visited GAD, and had a meeting with Professor Xiao Yong, Director of the Academic Committee of Faculty of GAD, Tian Ye, Director of Foreign Affairs Office, Lin Zijie, President of GAD, and Chen Lijun, Director of International Office.

President Audrius visited the Jewelry Building, Creative Workshop, ShowBIM, Light and Shadow Studio, Snail Restaurant and other places, and gave a high evaluation of the practical teaching environment and teaching results of GAD. The two sides also discussed the exchange of students and teachers, resource sharing, and teaching team, and were ready to further develop in-depth cooperation. The two sides signed a cooperation agreement last year. Teachers have visited each other many times. At present, two GAD students are studying at Vilnius Academy of Arts.

Vilnius Academy of Arts is the largest and oldest art university in Baltic countries. It was founded in 1793 and has more than 1,800 students. 100 alumni from it have won the National Art Prize. Each college has its own unique learning plan, which provides Lithuanian students with the possibility of finding specific art majors in different cities.
The delegation of teachers and students from GAD visited Vilnius Academy of Arts in November last year, and will carry out substantive projects with other professions as soon as possible to promote deepened exchanges and cooperation between the two sides.
